We at SMOON have based our understanding of a complete Lunar Month, or synodic period, according to NASA’s calculations of 29.5 days. 

 

Please know…

 

This current iteration of SMOON is primarily placed on what appears to be a traditional calendar of days, or daze, as we like to call them here at SMOON. As you very well know, the daze of the SMOON (yes, we mean Moon), do not adhere to the numbered dates on any calendar, but according to her own celestial movements. So, a New SMOON, just like a Full SMOON or Last Quarter SMOON and the 28th Day of the SMOON can all be on the 11th, the 3rd, the 22nd of any given month, and so on and so forth. 

 

We want to call your attention to this understanding that the number related to each Day of the SMOON here on our pages is to follow that lunar calculation, and not the actual numbered days in any calendar month. 

 

Also…

 

There are so many truly appropriate crystal choices for each day of The SMOON. The very most important part is that they resonate and are especially special to YOU. 

 

Please chose and use the stones, gems and crystal companions that speak to you and your life, your aspirations and intentional living, in every way. 

 

And…

 

The Moon, or SMOON, as we affectionately call her here in this space and on this site, obviously moves the largest bodies of water on Earth, as well as the internal waters of our human existence. Water rituals of all sorts and sources are appropriate any day that our dear SMOON might reveal herself, which is nightly! 

 

Thank Goddess! 

 

Baths, dips in a pool, stepping stones with our feet in a stream, or diving into a nearby lake, intentionally falling off the side of your raft in a river to take a swim, walking the sands of a shoreline as the Ocean’s waves caress your flip-flopped soles, or sipping a small cup of tea before bedtime, are ALL wonderful ways to connect with the feminine energy that is represented by The SMOON. 

 

We just wanted to say that even though we didn’t mention it in every descriptive for each calendar day!
